Canby packaging company wins Green Restaurant Association Award
Cedar Grove Composting Certification
Recognition from the Green Restaurant Association (http://www.dinegreen.com/) for their compostable, recyclable paper bag line at the 2010 National Restaurant Association Trade Show in Chicago. The annual industry show spotlighted 127 company booths with green products and selected PCI bags to showcase in their Green Products Guide. Restaurants using products approved by the GRA can earn points toward becoming a Certified Green Restaurant®.
Additionally, PCI recently earned product compostability certification for their natural and white Kraft paper produce bags from Cedar Grove Composting of Seattle, WA (http://www.cedar-grove.com/). The company offers a program of technical review and testing of compostable products for their feasibility in a commercial composting process.
